EFLE Conference hosted by Satakunta University of Applied Sciences

The 2025 EFLE annual conference will be held in Rauma, Finland from 30 September to 3 October! Satakunta University of Applied Sciences will host the conference.

The conference will will focus on the topic of  “Ensuring Security of Supply – Logistics in Action.”
We will start in Stockholm, Sweden and take the overnight ferry to Turku, Finland.

Wednesday we will travel along the western coast of Finland north towards Rauma and have the opportunity to get insights into the logistics approach in National Safety and Food Supply. You will also have the opportunity to walk in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Rauma.

On Thursday, we will have parallel sessions of Education track and Research track, where experts will present their logistics learning solutions and research papers. On Thursday afternoon, we will go to visit the Nuclear Power Plant in Olkiluoto to get insigths into the energy supply in Finland. After the plant visit we will invite you to have a true Finnish Experience with Sauna and swimming in the Baltic Sea at Helmiranta resort.

On Friday, we will continue with the conference presentations of the Education and Research track and we will get to know what the EFLE 2026 conference in Antwerpen, Belgium will provide us with. After lunch we say goodbye and the conference bus will bring you to Helsinki.

Conference fee and registration: 

The conference fee is 800 euro (deadline 12 September).

The conference fee includes:
- accommodation on the ferry Stockholm-Turku and in the hotel Scandic in Rauma (30 Sep - 3 Oct)
- lunch and dinner during the conference
- excursions and The Finnish Experience event
- bus trip back to Helsinki on Friday afternoon (the bus will arrive at the airport at 16:00 and will continue to downtown Helsinki - 16:30 arrival time).

After registration, you will be sent an invoice to pay the conference fee.

The early bird fee will be taken into account for all registrations made by the deadline of 6 June 2025.
