The conference kicks off with arrival and registration, followed by the annual EFLE member meeting. The evening ends with a welcome reception — the perfect setting to reconnect with familiar faces and forge new international partnerships.

Port & industry day — Port of Antwerp-Bruges

An immersive day at the heart of European logistics. Presentations from port experts cover the strategic role of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, touching on geopolitics, sustainability, innovation and the challenges shaping global supply chains. Lunch is hosted by the port authority.

The afternoon brings a guided bus tour of the port area, followed by a visit to DP World Antwerp — one of Europe's most advanced semi-automated container terminals — offering a hands-on look at the future of maritime logistics.

Smart logistics, research & conference dinner

Hosted at the AP University of Applied Sciences, Thursday focuses on the cutting edge of logistics education and research. Guest lectures, research presentations and open discussions explore innovation, smart logistics, security and the future of industry-education collaboration.

The afternoon opens up for a guided discovery of Antwerp's vibrant city centre, culminating in the conference dinner — an evening of good food, great conversation and lasting connections.

Workshops, future plans & closing

The final morning centres on EFLE's three core pillars: student engagement, research and curriculum development. Three interactive workshops invite participants to exchange ideas, share practices and shape the future of European logistics education together.

The conference closes with a forward-looking session on upcoming EFLE initiatives and international collaboration opportunities and a sneak-preview of the EFLE conference 2027. The official programme wraps up at lunchtime, with optional social activities for those staying on.
