EFLE 2024
The 2024 conference, held between 1-4 October, was hosted by IUT Chalon sur Saône and focused on climate change challenges in the logistics industry.
The programme featured company visits to Veuve Ambal (producers of Crémant de Bourgogne) and Tonnellerie de Mercurey (producers of hand-crafted barrels), a visit to the Cite des Climats et vins de Bourgogne and the Hospices de Beaune, and presentations from researchers Benjamin Pohl and Sebastien Zito about climate change and climate modeling and about climate interactions on the vineyards in the Burgundy region.

EFLE 2023
Held during the first week of October across two locations, HAN in Arnhem, The Netherlands, and Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany, this symposium brought together 34 representatives from 18 institutions from across Europe.
Beneath the overarching theme of “Green Logistics,” at HAN, participants partook in a blend of company visits and lectures, providing firsthand exposure to contemporary logistics practices, while at Rhine-Waal, “Serious Games” sessions were introduced to delve into the intricate Lean principles inherent in logistics processes.

EFLE 2022
The 2022 conference was held Breda University of Applied Sciences and included interesting talks and company visits.
The highlights included a talk about innovation in logistics in Brabant, a visit to Breda Robotics, a visit Brainport Industry Campus, bicycle ride through Breda, and the EFLE General Assembly.
